グッチは高級革製品で有名なイタリアの老舗ブランドですが、その品質重視の姿勢は徹底したもので、制作したデザイナーの名前を商品に入れて販売をしたのもグッチが世界で初めて実施したことなのです。

こうしたクラフトマン精神は他のアイテムでも十分生かされることとなり、今では、時計やネックレス、ブレスレットといったアクセサリー類についてもグッチは世界の一流品の名を高めています。

ブレスレットはもっともよく利用されるアクセサリーのひとつですが、グッチでもバラエティーある品揃えになっています。

中でもユニセックスで使えて、しかもモダンなデザインで大人気なのが163640-J8400です。

チェーンの部分は太目ですが実に繊細な造形による密度の高い構成で、つなぎの部分はプレート状になっています。

このプレートには品良くグッチのロゴが刻印されており、誰が身につけても嫌みのない雰囲気なのが人気となっているようです。

材質はスターリングシルバー925でサイズは約19cmとなっています。

ちなみによく耳にするスターリングシルバーですが、これはsterling silverと書き、銀の含有率が925パーミル、割り金75パーミルの銀合金のことです。

190478-J8400もスターリングシルバーを使用したシンプルでモダンなデザインですが、こちらは女性向けのもので、パールのブレスレットのように球状をつなげたソフトなイメージが特徴で、サイズは約18cmです。

つなぎの部分はリング状とプレート状の2つから構成され、反対側のピンで留めるようになっています。

パールのブレスレットのように球状は共通で、つなぎの部分のデザインが変わったタイプもあり、特に213951-J8400では、チェーン自体も途中から別のデザインに変化する凝った仕様になっています。

これは先ほどのは違い、ユニセックスでもOKとなっています。

こうした最新型もいいですが、グッチではビンテージのブレスレットも人気となっています。

ビンテージ版の特徴がGGマークの留め具がついていることで、これは70～80年代によく使われていたデザインのようで、ブレスレットの部分は、さまざまな色の蛇皮だったりします。

全体は金メッキが施され、ちょっと大人っぽいシックな装いには最適なアイテムとなりそうです。
